The House of Passementerie was established in August 2006 by husband and wife team, Simon and Virginia Garnham, after realising that there was a gap in the market for fine trimmings and tiebacks, at affordable prices.
Virginia has many years of local and international interior design experience, whilst Simon's background is one of import and distribution. This combination led to the development of a book file, which is compact, easy to use and carry, distributed to interior designers, decorating shops and related industries. The book has a fine selection of bullions, fringes, braids and tiebacks in rich tones of reds and greens, browns, golds and neutrals. Early 2008 saw the insertion of two new pages, incorporating more neutrals, some aqua, black and some novelty items.
This book is now duplicated on this website. The items are readily available, stocked in Cape Town and distributed from here, country wide via a professional courier service.
